Kintsugi Workshop: Sarah Benrubi, Kenta Takeshige, Delphine Mesmaeker

A workshop in collaboration with the Faculty of Conservation-Restoration of Art Works and the Faculty of Ceramics at La Cambre National School of Arts, Brussels Belgium

A Kintsugi workshop using lacquer was organized as part of the school class. The variety of usage possessed by lacquer; its use as an adhesive, its use as a filler by kneading it with other materials, its use as a finishing layer, and its use as an undercoat for metal powder, was practiced along with the Kintsugi process. The history of Kintsugi by Ms. Delphine Mesmaeker was also given in a lecture.
